Welcome to my website. I appreciate the time you are taking to look at my paintings, and I hope you see merit here. I am a new artist; I came to painting just recently, and quite late in life. In fact, nothing in my past work and life experiences would lead anyone to think that I could draw anything except stick figures, let alone paint. And yet  . . . I kept watching all those painting shows on PBS, mesmerized,  and kept telling my dear wife and incredible life partner how much fun it would be to try something like that. And, she listened. She encouraged and supported me as my kitchen table project turned into what you now see here. What I lack in formal training is hopefully overcome by my appreciation for beauty that over seventy years of living has allowed me to now tangibly embrace.

I've had a variety of work experiences, including playing professional baseball, sales and working as a drug and alcohol counselor. 

My medium here is acrylics. I am using brushes, a palette knife, and the occasional finger. 

A word about my signature. I sign my paintings "Garzoni" to honor my Italian ancestry and heritage. My grandparents immigrated to America in 1922, coming through Ellis Island to a new life in California. I moved from California to Idaho some 44 years ago. Today, my wife and I are blessed to be surrounded by four great kids and seven grandchildren.
